Celebrating 15 years of Bankers Life Forget Me Not Days®

We’re excited to announce our annual Bankers Life Forget Me Not Days® fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association® will be held nationwide on Friday, June 2 and Saturday, June 3, 2017. Annually during this signature campaign, our agents and associates hit the streets to collect donations for the Alzheimer’s Association. In exchange, our volunteers hand out packets of forget-me-not flower seeds for donors to plant in honor or in memory of someone with Alzheimer’s disease.

In celebration of this year’s campaign, here’s a look at Forget Me Not Days by the numbers:

The number of years we’ve held this fundraiser. What started as a grassroots effort in 2003 has blossomed into a national fundraiser over the past 15 years.

The number of cities across the country where our agents, associates and volunteers collected donations during the 2016 Forget Me Not Days event. This number has grown from seven cities in 2003.

The number of Bankers Life agents, associates and Alzheimer’s Association volunteers who hit the streets in 2016 to collect donations. This fundraiser has personal meaning for our agents and associates as they witness firsthand the health and financial impact that Alzheimer’s has on our customers, their families and caregivers.
