Bankers Life and Indiana Pacers partner for Indiana’s youth

Bankers Life’s parent company, CNO Financial Group, calls Indianapolis, Indiana home. Locals in Indianapolis—aka “Indy”—know Bankers Life Fieldhouse as the home of the Indiana Pacers and as the premiere entertainment venue for sporting events, concerts and more. Every week, thousands venture to downtown Indy for world-class entertainment at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Bankers Life Fieldhouse became our namesake in 2011, but we’re proud to say our relationship with the Indiana Pacers started much earlier than that in 1999, when CNO became the naming rights sponsor of the Pacers home court.
At every Pacers game, CNO Financial Group sponsors the CNO Financial Three Point Shot for Charity. This means for every three-point shot the Pacers make at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, CNO donates $50 to the Pacers Foundation.
Through this challenge, we’ve donated nearly $260,000 to the Pacers Foundation since 1999 (or 17 NBA seasons!). Bill Benner, Senior Vice President for Corporate, Community and Public Relations for Pacers Sports & Entertainment and Pacers Foundation board member, says, “CNO Financial goes beyond a mere partnership to support the Pacers Foundation’s mission of creating opportunities for the youth of Indiana.”
We cheer for three-point shots because we know every penny donated to the Pacers Foundation makes a difference. The Pacers Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life of youth in the state of Indiana by inspiring and motivating them to become involved in community activities, take their education seriously, set personal goals, actualize their dreams and take responsibility for their own lives and neighborhoods.
