SCOTT GOLDBERG JOINS BANKERS LIFE AND CASUALTY COMPANY AS STRATEGIC PLANNING VP

CHICAGO (December 7, 2004) - Scott L.
Goldberg, 34, has joined Bankers Life and Casualty Company,
Chicago, as vice president of Strategic Planning.
The Chicago resident comes to Bankers
from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, where he was the
managing director of the Development Group. Previously, Goldberg
was with CNA where he served as assistant vice president, Strategic
Planning and Business Development. He has also held strategy
management positions at Lante Corporation and Accenture. Goldberg
began his career in auditing and financial consulting at Arthur
Andersen.
He earned his bachelors degree in
Finance with honors from the University of Illinois and his MBA
with distinction from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the
University of Michigan. Goldberg is a CPA.
