Bankers Life Receives Top Honors in
2012 MarCom Awards Competition

Chicago, IL, (November 20, 2012) – Bankers Life and Casualty Company, a national life and health insurer focusing on the retirement market, was recently honored with eight 2012 MarCom Awards for creative excellence in marketing and communications.

The MarCom Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding creative achievement in marketing, branding, advertising and public relations. This year’s competition drew over 6,000 entries from media conglomerates to fortune 500 companies throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries.

Bankers Life was recognized with two Platinum Awards, four Gold Awards and two Honorable Mentions. The awards went to a range of creative projects including mobile application design, branding, packaging, and special events.

The MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

Winners were selected from over 200 categories in seven forms of media and communication efforts: marketing, publications, marketing/promotion, public service/pro bono, creativity and electronic/interactive.
