Make a career of helping people with Bankers Life
March 29, 2017
There is a Chinese saying that goes: “If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.”
As a Bankers Life insurance agent, you can make a career of helping people.
Your journey as a Bankers Life agent begins when people approaching retirement are in need of your help as they begin to plan for a secure and comfortable future. By getting to know them, listening to their concerns and understanding their needs, you can provide them insurance solutions that give them security, stability and integrity in retirement.
You will also have the opportunity as a Bankers Life insurance agent to serve your community alongside members of your team through numerous volunteer events.
For example, Bankers Life’s Forget Me Not Days raises money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. During this event, our agents collect donations for their local chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association. In exchange for donations, they hand out packets of Forget-Me-Not flower seeds for donors to plant in honor of the more than 5 million people with Alzheimer’s. Since 2003, we’ve helped raise more than $4.1 million for the Association through our Forget Me Not Days fundraiser.
There’s also always a strong showing of Bankers Life agents at the Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Check out this Q&A with one member of our team about her experience at last year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
